PhD Project Title: Fluid Mechanics of Printed Electronics

Background

My background is in Petroleum Engineering. I did a BEng in PE at the University of Leeds with my third year project on modelling tight gas reservoirs in North West Germany.

Research Interests

Coming from a practical background, my interests are generally industrial. However, some of the modules I'm currently doing in the CDT are theoretical and this made me put theoretical research areas into consideration  as well.

Why I chose the CDT in Fluid Dynamics

The main reason I chose the CDT in Fluid Dynamics is that it's multidisciplinary and is also a nice build up in the MSc to the PhD stage. I also enjoyed  fluid dynamics, reservoir engineering and simulation , and drilling fluids in my undergraduate studies and hence decided to carry on with fluids.
